This decaf coffee is sourced from the Huila and Cauca regions of Colombia, areas celebrated for their exceptional coffee-growing conditions. The coffee is produced by smallholder farmers, including marginalised groups such as women producers, showcasing the diversity and quality of Colombian coffee. It is made up of Castillo, Colombia, and Caturra varieties, which are cultivated in nutrient-rich soils at high altitudes, contributing to its complex flavour profile. The beans undergo a washed process, a meticulous method that involves fermenting and washing to remove the mucilage, resulting in a clean and well-rounded cup. This medium roast highlights its natural sweetness and smoothness, with tasting notes of malted barley and cocoa.
