This Colombian decaf originates from the Cauca region, specifically around the towns of Piendamó and Cajibío, as well as the city of Popayán. It is produced by a group of dedicated farmers who grow exceptional coffee, which is then blended for consistency. The coffee is processed using the washed method before undergoing decaffeination in Colombia itself. The beans showcase the region’s characteristic flavours with notes of black cherry, chocolate, and treacle. This multi-award-winning coffee is versatile and suitable for all brewing methods, offering a sweet and satisfying cup that can be enjoyed throughout the day or night. The use of local varietals and the expertise of the farmers ensure a high-quality coffee experience, even without caffeine.

Decaffeination Process

Decaffeinated using the Sugarcane Process (Ethyl Acetate), this method removes caffeine while preserving the coffee’s natural flavour profile. Ethyl acetate, derived from sugarcane, binds to caffeine molecules during the process, ensuring the integrity of the coffee’s taste.
