This Colombian decaf coffee is produced by the Cooperativa Divino Niño del Horizonte and ASOCAFOR, a collective of over 50 farming families in the Suaza region. Grown at altitudes ranging from 1,300 to 1,750 MASL, the coffee varieties include Caturra, Castillo, and Colombia. The region’s fertile soils and ideal climatic conditions contribute to the cultivation of high-quality beans with a balanced and nuanced flavour profile. The coffee undergoes meticulous sorting and processing to ensure consistency and excellence. This decaf coffee is characterised by its tasting notes of cherry, caramel, and chocolate, offering a sweet and rich cup with a smooth finish. It is sourced in collaboration with Osito, a partner committed to supporting smallholder farmers through initiatives like the Copa Suaceña competition, which identifies outstanding microlots. This decaf coffee reflects the dedication of its producers to quality and sustainability, delivering a premium experience without caffeine.

Decaffeination Process
Decaffeinated using the Ethyl Acetate Process, which involves steaming the coffee beans to open their pores before soaking them in a water and ethyl acetate solution. This method effectively removes caffeine while preserving the coffee’s natural flavours.
