This single estate Mexican decaf coffee comes from Finca La Laja, located near Huatusco in Veracruz. The farm, owned by the Sampieri family for three generations, produces coffee at 1,100 masl with a tropical climate and fertile soil. The coffee features Caturra, Criollo, and Bourbon varieties, processed using the washed method. La Laja is Rainforest Alliance and 4C certified, ensuring sustainable production. With a medium roast profile, this coffee offers a vibrant and clean cup with spicy, chocolate, sweet, and lemon flavours, complemented by bright acidity and a clean aftertaste.

Decaffeination Process
Decaffeinated using the Mountain Water Process by DESCAMEX, which uses pure water from Pico de Orizaba. This indirect decaffeination method removes caffeine while preserving the coffee’s flavour compounds, ensuring a clean and flavourful cup.
