This organic decaf coffee is produced by the Permata Gayo Cooperative in the Gayo Highlands, Central Aceh, Sumatra, Indonesia. Grown at an altitude of 1400m, this Arabica coffee features Catimor and Typica varietals. The beans are semi-washed and dried on patios, ensuring a clean and well-rounded flavour profile. The cooperative, formed in 2006, focuses on sustainability, traceability, and fair pricing for its members. It is certified Organic, Fairtrade, and Rainforest Alliance. The cooperative invests in community projects, including schools, coffee nurseries, and cupping labs, benefiting its over 2,000 members. This decaf coffee offers a unique taste experience while supporting ethical and sustainable farming practices.
